1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Lobbi’s website at mylobbi.link, the Lobbi application at in.mylobbi.link, and related services (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is provided by Lobbi (“Lobbi”, “we”, “us”).

2. The service

Lobbi provides branded virtual waiting rooms. Hosts configure lobbies, share links with guests, and admit guests into an underlying video meeting. Lobbi does not replace Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or any other meeting provider — it is the branded layer before the call.

Features may change during beta. We describe current capabilities on our marketing site; we do not guarantee every integration or feature shown as “coming soon” is available yet.

3. Beta and pricing

Lobbi is currently offered as a free beta. No payment card is required to start. We may change, limit, or discontinue features during beta.

We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will email account holders in advance and you may choose whether to continue. Nothing in these Terms obliges you to pay during the free beta period.

4. Accounts

You must:

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date
  • Be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher)
  • Keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify us of unauthorised access
  • Use one account per person unless we agree otherwise in writing

You are responsible for activity under your account. Email sign-in and Google OAuth are supported; your email address is tied to your account.

5. Host responsibilities

If you use Lobbi as a host, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for lobby links you share and for meeting URLs you configure
  • You are the data controller for guest personal data collected through your lobbies (see our Privacy Policy)
  • You will only collect guest information you need and will handle it lawfully
  • You will not misrepresent Lobbi as your meeting provider or imply endorsement by Zoom, Google, Microsoft, or others
  • You comply with applicable laws (including privacy, marketing, and professional obligations in your industry)

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Send spam, malware, or unsolicited communications through the Service
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or compromise our systems or other users’ accounts
  • Reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law
  • Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures

We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate access without refund (during beta, no fees apply).

7. Your content

You retain ownership of logos, text, images, and other material you upload or configure (“Your Content”). You grant Lobbi a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, display, and transmit Your Content solely to operate the Service (including showing it to guests who open your lobby links).

You represent that you have the rights to use and share Your Content and that it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.

8. Guest experience

Guest lobbies are reachable by anyone with the link. Guests who check in agree that their name and any optional details they provide are shared with the host. Guests should read the host’s own privacy notices where applicable.

We are not party to the relationship between hosts and their guests. Disputes about meetings, advice, or services offered by a host are between the host and the guest.

9. Availability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis during beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party outages (Supabase, Cloudflare, meeting providers), and internet issues may affect availability.

No service-level agreement applies during the free beta.

10. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Lobbi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) £100, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we discontinue the Service, or if required by law. We will try to give reasonable notice where practical.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including liability limits, governing law, and content licences for data already processed) will survive.

To request account deletion, email [email protected].

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country, including any right to bring claims in your local courts.
